So yeah, when the expiry date of your payment method lapses, it’s really smart to update that information with your service provider.

    +4 charisma points for the “Red Dawn” reference. I deleted my e-mail account info since I thought it was all gone forever, so feel free to drop my account from the control panel so zee spammers can stop wasting their time (think of those poor spammers! nah, fuck ‘em). I hadn’t used it in almost two years now.

    I think I’m finally going to get back into this blogging thing after my two-year hiatus. I’ve spent the last few months purging the absolute shit out of my computer room (to the tune of five carloads of stuff so far, with at least 1-2 more to go), I’m getting the house rewired (brought up to code; more outlets), then Rob and I are going to town on this place (I buy him $1K of tools, he does the work with me as his helper, and we have an excuse to hang out more often). We’re starting by totally gutting both bathrooms — one at a time, of course. The hall junk closet will disappear as we extend the guest bathroom so it has a tub/shower combo instead of the shower stall (all that turquoise tile from the 50s is history). Big-time stuff. New roof, new heat pump, new bathrooms, a hell of a lot of cosmetic work on the rest of the house, and I’ll be ready to sell once the market is out of the toilet. And hopefully, then I can leave Alabama once and for all.
